The First Kramatorsk Lyceum in Zakarpattia hosted the latest stage of the “Clean Hearts—Clean Planet” eco-marathon as part of World Cleanup Day, organized by the Donetsk Regional Ecology and Nature Center.
About 110 students took part in the event. The children enjoyed creative workshops, eco-games, and an introduction to the 5R principles.
Participants painted wooden panels, created collages from magazines and newspapers, and made eco-bags from old T-shirts. While exploring the 5R Virtual Eco-Museum, the children learned about simple ways to reduce waste, and in the “Sorting Trash” eco-game, they put their knowledge to the test.
The creative activities and games helped the children see that eco-friendly habits can be simple, fun, and useful in everyday life.
