Young residents of Bakhmut, along with their parents, visited the Science Museum at the Yuriy Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic National University. The tour for families from the Bakhmut community was organized by the Department of Social Protection of the Poltava City Council as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
There, visitors could not only see science but also test it in practice. The children explored the exhibits, observed various phenomena, and conducted experiments.
They continued their exploration of science at the interactive “Eureka” exhibition. The science show was combined with hands-on experiments. Together with their parents, the children explored physical and biological phenomena, learned about optical illusions, and interacted with the exhibits.
For the young residents of the Bakhmut community, the field trip was an opportunity to experience science beyond the pages of textbooks. The children conducted experiments, discovered new things, and found answers to many of their “why?” questions.
