This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
Every day, hundreds of residents of the Donetsk region leave dangerous frontline communities. Our task is to help every person reach a safe place and ensure that no one is left alone to search for housing.
During July, 315 people received free accommodation, including 116 individuals with limited mobility. Evacuees from the Donetsk region were welcomed in the Rivne, Kirovohrad, Poltava, and other regions of Ukraine.
An additional 12 residents with limited mobility were evacuated abroad with the support of charitable organizations.
At transit centers, evacuees receive hot meals, humanitarian assistance, and psychological support. Those who have nowhere to go are provided with free temporary accommodation in prepared housing facilities.
"I am grateful to the regional administrations, Ukrainian Railways, the police, emergency responders, military administrations, volunteers, and charitable organizations who work every day to help save people's lives," Vadym Filashkin said.
Evacuation requests can be submitted by calling: 0800 500 121 or +380 73 050 0121.
For the evacuation of seriously ill people and persons with disabilities: 0800 332 614.
Do not delay your decision. Evacuation saves lives.
