Today, on May 22, an online meeting of the regional commission to consider granting tax exemptions to enterprises and organizations of public organizations of people with disabilities was held under the chairmanship of Oleksandr Shevchenko, Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration.
During the meeting, the commission members reviewed documents on the feasibility of granting tax exemptions to two enterprises. In particular, the Center for Labor Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons “Drukarsky Dom”, which is owned by the Donetsk Regional Organization of the All-Ukrainian Organization “Union of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine”, and the Kramatorsk Training and Production Enterprise of the Ukrainian Society of the Blind.
Despite the difficult conditions of the war, both enterprises continue to operate, provide employment, including for people with disabilities, and maintain a decent level of salaries for their employees. Providing tax benefits to such enterprises is an important support tool that allows not only to preserve jobs but also to facilitate the integration of people with disabilities into economic and social life.
Following the review, the commission recommended that both enterprises be granted permission to use tax exemptions, with a corresponding order issued by the head of the Donetsk regional state administration and the head of the regional military administration.
It is important to provide maximum assistance to enterprises founded by public organizations of people with disabilities. Supporting such initiatives is not only about the economy, but also about humanity, equality and creating conditions for a decent life for every citizen.
