The cheerful cuddly dog Hibuki is once again helping children. This time, it is the third group of young Bakhmut residents who are currently staying in Kyiv. The meetings with the children are taking place as part of the Warm Embraces project, which is being run at the Bakhmut Support Center "I Will Return_Bakhmut."
Hibuki therapy is a modern emotional support technique developed in Israel. Its main character is a soft cuddly dog who is always there. He helps children cope with fear and regain peace and trust in the world. Hugs are a simple but incredibly powerful tool.
Under the guidance of certified Hibuki therapist and practical psychologist Inna Tkachenko from Bakhmut Secondary School No. 12, the children got to know Hibuki, played, hugged, and shared their feelings. Each moment like this is another step toward healing little hearts.
The students' parents also joined the meeting, learning about the method and receiving advice on how to support their children at home through toys and hugs.
The Warm Hugs project is based on the Israeli Hibuki therapy method and was made possible thanks to financial support from the Ukrainian women's clothing brand WONDER.
Let's take care of our children's mental health together, because every child's smile is a step towards rebuilding Ukraine's future.
