As part of the Side by Side: United Communities project, the Svyatogirsk community in Donetsk Oblast and the Velykoberezovytska community in Ternopil Oblast held a joint training session on "Mental Health: Support and Development in Stressful Conditions."
The event was attended by practical psychologists, educators, and representatives of local government bodies—a total of 20 participants.
During the training, participants learned skills for coping with stress or recovering more quickly from its effects. These skills are especially important today, in conditions of constant anxiety for one's own life and the lives of one's loved ones.
They also learned about the importance of resilience, which characterizes the "elasticity" of our psyche, allowing us to recover easily after interacting with stressors.
Resilience is a characteristic of the human psyche that determines the ability to resist stress and demonstrate mental stability, allowing one to prevent mental and emotional burnout, anxiety, and depression, and to recover from difficulties and stress.
Take care of your mental health!
