In early April, a training session was held for young people and residents of the Donetsk region who had relocated to Kryvyi Rih. The event took place within the framework of a signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the Staromlynivska community and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in collaboration with the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events for National-Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration, as well as the Mariupol and Pokrovsk communities.

The goal of the training was to master practical skills that can save lives in wartime and emergency situations, specifically knowledge of mine safety and the provision of first aid. Instructors from the Special Operations Forces Resistance Movement conducted the sessions in the most practical format possible, with special attention given to proper response to explosive objects, stopping bleeding, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and basic rules of conduct in a combat zone.

The signing of the Memorandum marked an important step in systematic efforts and envisions not only educational activities but also further coordination of efforts toward national resistance, public preparedness, and the exchange of experience.

Citizen participation in preparing for the resistance movement is a vital component of the state’s defense capability; it helps enhance national resilience and defense awareness, and creates the conditions for actively countering the aggressor in all spheres of public life.
