As part of efforts to foster inter-community cooperation and in celebration of Environment Day, the Velykonovosilky and Teplitsa communities are announcing the launch of a joint plogging marathon titled “Healthy, Active, Eco-Friendly.”
The initiative is being implemented as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” and brings residents together around the ideas of a healthy lifestyle and caring for the environment.
Plogging is a modern activity that combines exercise with a good cause: while walking or jogging, participants pick up trash, making their communities cleaner.
Dates: April 6–17, 2026
How to join:
✔️ Go for a walk or a jog.
✔️ Pick up trash.
✔️ Take a photo or video.
✔️ Send it to: [email protected].
✔️ Include your first name, last name, and community.
The results of the marathon will be announced on April 18, 2026, on official information channels.
We invite residents of the Velykonovosilkovskyi and Teplitskyi communities, as well as anyone else interested, to join the marathon and support the initiative. Together, we not only care for the environment but also foster a shared culture of responsibility and unity.
