From April 1, the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk region carried out an automatic recalculation of pensions for retirees who continue to work.
The recalculation was performed automatically, without the need for personal applications.
Who was eligible?
The right to recalculation applied to pensioners who, as of March 1, 2026:
- had accumulated at least 24 months of insurance record after their pension was assigned or last recalculated, or
- had reached two years since their last recalculation
Results in Donetsk region
- 27,900 pensioners had their payments automatically recalculated
- 14,700 of them will receive increased payments starting in April
Breakdown:
- 12,200 pensioners — recalculation based on additional service record
- average increase: UAH 214.55
- 2,500 pensioners — recalculation based on both additional service record and increased salary
- average increase: UAH 588.57
☝️ The Pension Fund determined individually which recalculation option was more beneficial: based only on additional service record or including both service record and salary.
💳 The updated pension payments will be made according to the regular payment schedule in April.
