Every day, the centers provide:

 free, centralized housing;

 assistance with applying for financial aid from international organizations—12,300 UAH per person;

 humanitarian, psychological, and medical assistance;

 transportation to a new place of residence;

 assistance with processing necessary documents;

 hot meals.

To ensure people receive all necessary assistance, representatives from the Department of Social Protection of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, the Donetsk Regional Center for Social Services, the social protection units of military administrations, and municipal social service providers work at the transit centers daily.

Up to 300 residents of the Donetsk region receive assistance through the transit centers every day.

Since the centers began operating, assistance has been provided to 135,000 people, including 21,000 children and 8,000 people with limited mobility.

All residents of the Donetsk region who report a need for housing while staying at a transit center can take advantage of centralized, free housing placement.

This service is organized by the Donetsk Regional State Administration in cooperation with the host regional state administrations and the charitable organization “Coordination Humanitarian Center.” The specific relocation location depends on the availability of vacancies in temporary housing facilities.

In October alone, 16 regions of Ukraine accommodated 485 residents of Donetsk Oblast, including 193 people with limited mobility and 45 children. Zhytomyr and Rivne regions took in the largest number of our people.

Among those with limited mobility, 117 required long-term nursing care. They were placed in appropriate healthcare facilities.
