To mark International Chef and Culinary Professional Day, celebrated on October 20, educators at the Donetsk “Yunost” Youth Palace organized an online career exploration quest for schoolchildren titled “The Path to a Career: CHEF”
The event was an exciting journey into the world of culinary arts, during which students discovered the unique aspects of the chef’s profession, explored various culinary specialties, and learned about career development opportunities.
Participants were challenged with interactive tasks, culinary riddles, interesting facts, and unconventional scenarios that required quick thinking, attentiveness, logical reasoning, and a creative approach. The students showed remarkable enthusiasm and engagement: they eagerly answered questions, expressed their own opinions, proposed original solutions, and enthusiastically took part in all the challenges. They were particularly excited by the opportunity to feel like real chefs and share their own culinary ideas.
During the event, the students also learned about opportunities for vocational education and career growth prospects in the culinary field.
The online quest took place in a friendly, positive atmosphere, providing participants with new knowledge, vivid impressions, and inspiration for future achievements. Perhaps for some, this very event became the first step toward their dream career.
