The Donetsk Youth Palace “Yunist” announces the launch of the patriotic online marathon “Engraved in the Heart: Donetsk Region,” dedicated to the birthday of our beloved Donetsk Region.
This is a space for those whose souls speak through poetry and whose hearts are filled with boundless love for their native land, its grandeur, beauty, and resilience. We invite creative, talented, and sincere individuals to reveal the image of Donetsk Oblast through the power of the written word!
Marathon categories:
- “Voice of the Native Steppe” – recitation of poetic works about the incredible nature, beauty, and grandeur of the Donetsk region.
- “Legacy of Local Poets” – recitation of poems by classical or contemporary authors who were born or worked in the Donetsk region.
- “Original Works” – reading of original poetic works dedicated to the Donetsk region: its history, resilient people, warm memories of home, or faith in a future revival.
- The marathon will take place from June 7 to 30, 2026.
How to participate?
- Prepare a contest entry (recitation) that aligns with the theme and purpose of the marathon.
- Fill out a separate application form (a separate form is attached to each entry).
- Submit your entry and application by June 19, 2026 (inclusive) to the Palace’s email address: [email protected], with the subject line “Donetsk Region.”
