The Rivne region welcomed its 14th evacuation train since the start of the year. This train brought 23 people from the Donetsk region and 3 people from the Zaporizhzhia region. Among those evacuated was one child.
For many, evacuation was a necessary decision due to the deteriorating security situation.
Among the new arrivals is Tetyana Oleksandrivna from Druzhkivka. This is not the first time she has had to relocate because of the war. Her son serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She needs assistance in completing the necessary procedures.
Also among the evacuees is a family that arrived in Rivne Oblast with their dog. For people forced to leave their homes, it is important not only to save their own lives but also to bring their pets—who are part of the family—with them.
At the train station, the evacuees were met by representatives of all relevant services, volunteers, and a mobile team from the NGO “Integration Center.”
Specialists are helping the new arrivals get their bearings after the evacuation, conducting an initial needs assessment, providing necessary information, and directing people to available social, medical, psychological, and other services.
The evacuees will subsequently be housed in communities in the Sarny District, where they will be able to rest, recover, and begin a new chapter in their lives.
