On January 27, Ukraine, along with the rest of the world, commemorates the victims of the Holocaust, marking the anniversary of the liberation of prisoners from Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp. This is a day of deep sorrow, when humanity remembers the millions of Jews and members of other minorities who fell victim to mass repression during World War II.
The Donetsk Regional Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity invites you to participate in the regional commemorative campaign "Light of Memory."
From January 12 to 27, we invite you to create and post your creative works on the "Extracurricular Activities of Donetsk Region" page on Facebook:
- Drawings, photographs, collages, posters depicting:
- a candle of remembrance — a symbol of unquenchable light;
- he Star of David — a sign of tragedy and remembrance;
- images of hope, compassion, and humanity;
- light that conquers darkness.
- Symbolic videos honoring the memory
- Audio or video recordings of poetry or prose dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust.
