The Donetsk Regional Educational and Methodological Center for Culture, with the support of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, announces the regional remote campaign “Never Give Up Day,” timed to coincide with the Day of Strength of Spirit and Determination, which is celebrated annually on August 18.
The campaign’s message is to support citizens’ moral resilience, promote the values of fortitude, mutual support, and unity, and foster a positive, life-affirming outlook during wartime. The event aims to unite the residents of Donetsk Oblast around a shared desire to live, grow, maintain faith in the future, and work together to bring Ukraine’s victory closer.
As part of the campaign, participants are invited to prepare a short video message with motivational and supportive content, aimed at strengthening faith in one’s own abilities, resilience in the face of challenges, and confidence in the future. The video must be recorded in a public place (street, square, park, etc.) in MP4 or MOV format with a landscape orientation.
Residents of the Donetsk region are invited to participate, including citizens who, due to military hostilities, are temporarily residing in other regions of Ukraine or abroad. The organizers also encourage service members, veterans, and their family members to join, as their example of courage, resilience, and dedication to Ukraine serves as an important source of inspiration for society.
To participate, please submit a video message by August 10, 2026, along with information about the author and performer (last name, first name, patronymic, age, cultural or educational institution, local community, country of residence, etc.) to the email address: [email protected].
The results of the campaign will be announced on August 17–18, 2026, on the official Facebook page of the Methodological Center for Culture under the hashtag #НіколиНеЗдавайся.
