Representatives of Donetsk region communities took part in the sixth socio-cultural forum HORIZONTAL 6.0, which was held in Dnipro and brought together representatives of government bodies, international and public organizations, the volunteer community, the youth sector, business and culture.

Representatives of the Pokrovska City Military Administration, the Kramatorsk and Bakhmut District State Administrations, the Soledarska City Military Administration, as well as other communities of Donetsk region joined the event.

This year, the forum was held under the slogan “Women Who Create the Future”. Participants discussed issues of supporting women, leadership development, security, strengthening communities, intersectoral cooperation and the implementation of successful social practices.

The event program included panel discussions, thematic lectures, a forum-theater of social changes, presentations by international and public organizations on the Alley of Opportunities, as well as interactive locations for professional communication and exchange of experience.

The participants particularly attracted the attention of the forum-theater of social changes - an interactive format that, through modeling real-life situations, helps to find effective solutions to social challenges and promotes the development of team interaction skills.

The participation of representatives of the Donetsk region in the forum was an opportunity to get acquainted with modern approaches to community development, expand partnerships, exchange successful practices and identify new areas of further cooperation to support the residents of the region.

The event once again confirmed the importance of combining the efforts of state institutions, the public sector and international partners for the development of communities, strengthening resilience and creating new opportunities for people even in times of war.
