Participant in the regional competition “Young Person of the Year – 2026” in the “Leaders of Knowledge” category Yana Bondarenko
A native of Kostiantynivka, Yana Bondarenko chose to become a history teacher as a conscious calling. For her, it is not just a school subject, but an important foundation for the revival of historical memory, national dignity, and the spirituality of the Ukrainian people.
Working at Kostiantynivka Secondary School No. 1, Yana Mykolayivna employs modern interactive teaching methods, engaging students in academic and creative activities. Together with her students, she wins top prizes in regional competitions, expeditions, and academic contests.
Military-patriotic education of youth holds a special place in her work, to which she has dedicated nearly ten years. She leads the school’s “Ratiborets” squad of the “Sokil” (“Dzhura”) game, which won first place at the city level in 2026. In 2025, she led the community team in the regional training program “Unbreakable Warrior—Guardsman,” and in 2026, she personally completed a training course preparing citizens for national resistance.
Through her own example, she motivates young people to master skills in first aid, topography, and leadership. Her passion for sports gives her the strength to keep moving forward.
Yana Bondarenko is an example of a creative, determined, and dedicated teacher who, day after day, nurtures a conscious, aware, and responsible elite for the future of Ukraine.
