First Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Yurii Vynokurov, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko, and heads of relevant structural units of the Regional State Administration took part in a meeting of the Headquarters for Preparing Housing and Communal Services Facilities and the Fuel and Energy Complex for the 2025/26 Autumn–Winter Period and Ensuring Its Stable Passage During Martial Law. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.
During the meeting, the Headquarters addressed issues related to the current situation in the functioning of the energy system, the elimination of consequences caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, and the prospects for restoring energy infrastructure facilities. Proposals for reducing electricity consumption were also discussed. Special attention was given to the introduction of schedules for limiting electricity consumption.
Yurii Vynokurov emphasized that almost all settlements in the Donetsk region are located within 20 kilometers of the front line. Therefore, scheduled rolling outages are not applied; power outages occur due to shelling by Russian occupation forces or in the event of emergency situations. At the same time, 37 emergency repair teams are operating in Donetsk region and are involved in restoring the networks.
