"An oath is not just empty words," says Andriy Kryshchenko, deputy commander of the Rubizh Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard.
Andriy Yevgenyevich knows better than anyone else what true officer loyalty to the oath means. Together with a small group of like-minded people, he was one of the first to repel pro-Russian provocateurs in the de facto captured city of Horlivka in 2014. As a true defender of order, he did not allow the city police headquarters to be captured.
In 2022, when Russia openly invaded Ukraine, Andriy Kryshchenko joined the ranks of the Defense Forces without hesitation. Today, he defends his native Donetsk region and is confident that in the future, this land will once again become beautiful, rich, and developed.
