Vadym Filashkin discussed preparations for the heating season at a meeting of the specialized headquarters chaired by Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba.
“Together with me, the heads of the relevant structural units of the Donetsk Regional State Administration took part in the meeting.
We discussed the readiness of the regions, as well as the provision of fuel and lubricants for power generators as alternative sources of electricity for critical infrastructure facilities.
This concerns primarily heating, water supply, and sewage facilities, as well as social institutions that must operate stably even under possible challenges.
In Donetsk region today, the readiness level of such facilities is 64%.
Despite all the difficulties, we are doing everything possible to ensure a stable passage through the heating season,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
