To strengthen backup heat supply and ensure the stable operation of critical infrastructure during the heating season, Donetsk Oblast will receive over 22 million hryvnias to implement these projects.
This was announced by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
In total, the government has allocated 3 billion hryvnias from the reserve fund to purchase 216 modular boiler units to ensure reliable heat supply to homes and apartments amid Russia’s energy terror.
Of this amount, 966 million hryvnias will be directed to the Recovery Agency for the implementation of projects in Kyiv. Regions will receive an additional 2 billion UAH as part of the implementation of resilience plans.
The key task now, in collaboration with communities, is to promptly complete the preparation of equipment before the start of the heating season.
Systematic preparations for winter are ongoing as part of the Regional Resilience Plans, which the Government developed in collaboration with regional state administrations and local governments.
These plans include a set of measures to protect critical infrastructure, develop distributed generation and backup heat supply, and ensure stable water supply and wastewater management.
