From April to May 2026, the Donetsk region hosted a regional competition and exhibition of artistic works by preschool-aged children from disadvantaged backgrounds, titled “Go for It, Little One!”
Every year, this creative event brings together the youngest talented students from extracurricular programs, giving them the opportunity to express themselves, feel supported, and take their first steps into the world of art.
This year, the contest participants were children aged 3 to 7 from extracurricular education institutions in the Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhiv territorial communities, as well as from the Donetsk Regional Center for Technical Creativity of Children and Youth and the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity.
- The young talents showcased their creative abilities in various categories:
- “Theatrical Treasure Chest”—where emotions, fairy-tale characters, and children’s dreams came to life;
- “Golden Brush”—where every stroke of paint told its own unique story;
- “Magic Workshop” — where ordinary materials were transformed into true artistic masterpieces.
Based on the jury’s evaluation, the contest winners were determined:
- First-place winners — 18 participants;
- Second-place winners — 17 participants;
- Third-place winners — 15 participants.
Congratulations to our young winners, their parents, and talented mentors! We wish you boundless creative energy, inspiration, bright dreams, and new achievements under the peaceful Ukrainian sky.
