Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, joined an online meeting organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. During the event, participants discussed key issues related to providing mobile communication stations with uninterruptible power supplies.
The discussion focused on the importance of stable operation of mobile operators in conditions of increased risks and possible power outages. Particular attention was paid to coordinating actions at the local level to ensure the timely equipping of base stations with generators, batteries, and other backup power sources.
Igor Boiko stressed that for Donetsk Oblast, which is in a high-risk area, accessible and uninterrupted communications are a critical element of security and operational communication between services. He stressed the readiness of the regional administration to cooperate with operators and relevant services to ensure maximum network stability.
The online meeting ended with the agreement on further steps and the identification of priority areas of work to strengthen the energy autonomy of mobile communication facilities.
