An online meeting was held between the Kostyantynivka Central City Public Library and Branch Library No. 1 of the Uzhhorod Public Library. Participants discussed how modern libraries can become a space of equal opportunities for all.
The event was held as part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities."
Experts shared their practical experience of working with children with special needs, as well as with displaced persons who have experienced traumatic events. They discussed programs that help children adapt, learn, and develop in the safe and friendly environment of the library.
Particular attention was paid to innovations in creating accessible spaces for people with disabilities, as well as the development of services for users who need individual support. The meeting was an example of successful cooperation and showed how the combined efforts of libraries help build an inclusive society.
