To mark Ukraine’s Independence Day, the Donetsk Regional Children’s Library invites everyone to take part in the regional word search competition «Words of Independence».
Rules: you must find as many themed words as possible hidden in the word search and write them in the comments directly below the post, making sure to include your first name and surname. The post will appear on 24 August on the library’s official Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/oblbib.dn.ukr.net
Based on the results of the online event, the first three participants to find all the themed words will receive books as prizes and winners’ certificates; all others who take part in the challenge will receive certificates of participation.
Participants will have three days to complete the task, from 24 to 26 August inclusive, so they will have plenty of time to carefully examine the fill-in-the-blank puzzle and find all the hidden words.
The organisers have included a little twist: amongst the themed words, there will also be ordinary words hidden, designed to test not only your attentiveness but also your ability to determine whether a word you’ve found fits the theme of the event. So, you’ll need to be particularly vigilant during your search.
