Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University was visited by a delegation of members of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and their advisors.
During the meeting, the Rector of the University, Illia Khadzhynov, briefed the guests on the history of the university's resilience, the consequences of Russian terror for the higher education system of Ukraine and how the university maintains its competitive ability to provide quality educational services, despite the challenges of war, including for young people from the frontline and temporarily occupied territories.
The delegation also got acquainted with the projects that have been implemented since the resumption of work in Vinnytsia and outlined the prospects for further cooperation with UK educational institutions and foundations.
The meeting was attended by Ukrainian MP Yulia Ovchynnykova and Deputy Mayor of Vinnytsia Vladyslav Skalskyi.
