On September 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., the Donetsk Regional Art Museum invites museum professionals, employees of cultural institutions in the Donetsk, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy regions, representatives of local communities, and all interested individuals to an online webinar titled “Museum Institutions as Platforms for the Rehabilitation of Service Members and Their Families: Opportunities and Practices.”
Webinar participants will explore the potential of museum institutions to support, facilitate social integration, and aid in the psychological recovery of service members, veterans, and their family members, as well as the role of cultural and artistic practices in creating an accessible and safe space for their communication, creative self-expression, and cultural participation amid the war for Ukraine’s independence.
The organizers aim to share practical experience and foster professional collaboration among museums, cultural institutions, local communities, and rehabilitation centers to strengthen the role of museums in supporting and facilitating the social integration of service members, veterans, and their families.
