The research work of teachers and students of the Donetsk Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center has been included in the collection of abstracts for the project "GLOBE Project: Environmental Studies - The Future Begins Here," which is being implemented as part of the international GLOBE Program.
The project is being implemented by the National Ecological and Naturalistic Center for Student Youth of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the aim of involving students and teachers in scientific monitoring of the environment.
During October 2025 - January 2026, young scientists carried out systematic observations and practical research on environmental components. In particular, they analyzed water from local natural sources and reservoirs, determined its individual quality indicators, recorded the results, and compared them with previous observations.
The children also carried out regular meteorological observations: they measured air temperature, tracked changes in weather conditions, analyzed seasonal dynamics, and summarized the data obtained in accordance with GLOBE program protocols. Based on the collected materials, abstracts of reports were prepared.
At the end of the project, the participants received certificates, and the teachers received documents confirming their professional development.
The publication of the abstracts in a nationwide collection attests to the high quality of the research and contributes to the integration of regional experience into the international scientific and educational space.
