“Experience Matters”: New Opportunities for People Aged 50+

Published 21 May 2026 year, 13:02

Experienced professionals remain among the most valuable employees in today’s labor market. Despite this, people aged 50+ often face age-related stereotypes when searching for a job. At the same time, they possess professional experience, responsibility, practical skills, and the ability to quickly find solutions in challenging situations — qualities that employers highly value.

To support older people and help them return to the labor market, the national project “Experience Matters” has been launched.

The initiative helps connect the experience and skills of people aged 50+ with the current needs of employers.

As part of the project, people aged 50+ receive a new opportunity to confidently return to the labor market and realize their professional potential. Participants can take free training courses, update their knowledge and skills, receive assistance in creating a modern résumé, and prepare effectively for job interviews. They can also complete short-term internships, communicate directly with employers, and find jobs where their experience, responsibility, and professionalism are truly appreciated.

For employers, the project offers an opportunity to find responsible, motivated, and experienced workers who are ready to adapt quickly and apply their professional skills in practice.

If you are looking for a job, want to return to professional activity, or are seeking new opportunities — do not put it off. Your experience, knowledge, and skills are needed in today’s labor market.

Join the “Experience Matters” project, receive support from specialists, gain new knowledge, connect with employers, and take a step toward stable employment and professional fulfillment.
