Published 23 April 2026 year, 13:20

Through professional dialogue, mutual support, and a willingness to share best practices, a robust social protection system is being built that is capable of responding to today’s challenges.

Today, as part of the nationwide project “Side by Side: United Communities,” an online meeting was held between specialists from the Social Protection Department of the Druzhkivka City Council and the Health and Social Protection Department of the Kamianetska Settlement Territorial Community in Kirovohrad Oblast.

During a constructive discussion, participants shared practical experience regarding support for military personnel who have suffered severe injuries, particularly regarding the provision of rehabilitation resources and monetary compensation for necessary items purchased independently.

Special attention was paid to shaping program priorities for 2026; participants reviewed current approaches to their work and developed new ideas for the further development of the social sector.

Cooperation between communities is an effective tool for strengthening support for people, and the exchange of experience opens up new opportunities for meaningful change.
