In today's conditions, more than ever before, the unity and mutual support of communities become the foundation of our country's resilience. It is with this goal that an online meeting of specialists from the social protection departments of the Druzhkivka and Zhmerinka communities took place within the framework of the national project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities."
The participants of the event exchanged experiences regarding the support of veterans, servicemen, and the families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine.
Representatives of the Druzhkivka community presented effective approaches to the implementation of social programs that include material assistance, psychological support, and consulting services.
Particular attention was paid to establishing a dialogue with veterans, their involvement in community life, as well as systematic support for families who have experienced loss.
A sincere and meaningful conversation created a space for trust and cooperation, where every shared experience transforms into concrete actions. It is through such initiatives that communities form a common culture of care — consistent and effective.
