Initiatives that bring communities together build trust among people who work every day to support those in need. It is through collaboration that solutions emerge capable of strengthening the social sector and making it more effective.
As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” a meeting was held between representatives of the Social Protection Department of the Druzhkivka City Council and their colleagues from the Social Protection and Health Care Department of the Zhmerynka City Council in Vinnytsia Oblast.
The “Side by Side: United Communities” project aims to develop partnerships between outpost communities and partner communities, enabling the exchange of experiences, the development of joint approaches, and the identification of effective solutions.
During the discussion, participants focused on current issues that arise when registering applications for various types of state assistance in the unified information system for the social sector. Experts discussed practical case studies, shared their own experiences and best practices, which will help improve the quality of service delivery.
Such meetings are an important step toward strengthening cooperation between communities, as working together opens up new opportunities to improve social protection and increase the level of support for citizens.
