Specialists from the Druzhkivka City Council and the Zhmerynka District State Administration continue to collaborate as part of the nationwide project “Side by Side: United Communities.” The latest online meeting served as a forum for professional dialogue, the exchange of experiences, and the search for practical solutions in the field of social protection.
Among the pressing issues discussed were the organization of social services and ways to improve their quality. Representatives from both sides described the approaches they have developed for working under martial law and shared ideas that help respond more quickly to the needs of internally displaced persons, military families, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
Modern digital tools were also discussed. Their implementation makes it possible to streamline the processing of requests, reduce wait times, and make interactions with social assistance recipients more convenient and transparent.
Further strengthening professional ties remains one of the key areas of the partnership. Sharing best practices, mutual support, and the joint search for effective solutions create additional opportunities for the development of social services and for strengthening assistance to people facing difficult life circumstances.
