On October 27, Ukraine will celebrate Ukrainian Writing and Language Day. This holiday, associated with the name of Nestor the Chronicler, serves as a reminder of the centuries-old history of our literature, the development of our native language, and the importance of preserving and promoting it.
To mark this occasion, the libraries in Druzhkivka and Zhmerynka invite you to join the video flash mob “Reading in Ukrainian. Supporting Ukraine,” which is being held as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
How to participate?
- Choose a poem about Ukraine or the Ukrainian language.
- Record a video of yourself reading the selected piece expressively.
- Post the video on Facebook with the hashtag:
#ЧитаємоУкраїнськоюПідтримуємоУкраїну.
