DTEK Donetsk Power Grids continues equipment repairs: electricity restored to 1,700 more households

On the first day of autumn, specialists of DTEK Donetsk Power Grids continued their work despite constant danger. Thanks to the permission of the military, a number of network and equipment repairs were carried out, restoring electricity to 1,700 households. The company’s experts are doing everything possible to bring power back to the region as soon as conditions allow and the military gives clearance to proceed.

The enemy continues relentless shelling of Donetsk region, leaving towns and villages without electricity. Energy workers, in turn, persistently repair the damage wherever possible. In particular, yesterday specialists of DTEK Donetsk Power Grids managed to restore power in one frontline settlement, bringing electricity back to the homes of 1,705 local families.

DTEK Donetsk Power Grids specialists have been working continuously for 1,287 days, repairing equipment and lines as soon as it becomes possible. Their work remains extremely dangerous: according to regional head Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled populated areas of the region 19 times over the past day.
