The Christmas holidays begin with St. Nicholas Day. This is a time when children's imaginations run wild, snowflakes falling from the sky turn into fairy-tale patterns, and every moment is filled with the expectation of miracles.
Humanitarian hubs/centers, which were set up for residents of the Donetsk region in safe areas of Ukraine, have launched activities to create a magical and festive mood for children and adults, a sense of New Year's wonder.
Festively decorated locations host entertainment programs with creative contests, entertainment, fun games, Christmas songs, and funny animators.
Magical fairy tales knocked on the door and visited the locations. Beloved fairy tale characters gave children real miracles, a sea of positivity, happiness, and laughter.
Bright entertainment programs "Adventures on St. Nicholas Day," "St. Nicholas Visited Us," "St. Nicholas Academy of Good Deeds," "A Big Bag of Hugs," "St. Nicholas's Postmen," "St. Nicholas, Come Visit Us!," "Light in Little Hands," "Each of Us Waits for Miracles on St. Nicholas Day," "In Search of St. Nicholas' Lantern" captivated children with lively games, energetic dances, catchy songs, and a festive atmosphere, fostering a sincere belief in miracles and a sparkle in their eyes.
In St. Nicholas' workshops, festive stockings for the fireplace, wonderful Christmas tree toys, New Year's bouquets, crafts for decorating the house were made, gingerbread cookies were painted, which became a real holiday for little craftsmen, a gift of happy hours of creativity.
From festive shows, interesting themed quest games, bright Christmas trees, and soap bubbles, the children received a lot of positive emotions and smiles.
Laughter, excitement, and joy—these emotions were given to the people of Donetsk by the actors during the performances of "Sleepy Stories," "The Grinch," "Paw Patrol Saves New Year's Eve," "The Barber of Seville," "Cinderella, or The Glass Slipper," "The Trial of St. Nicholas," and "Christmas Detective."
Numerous festive concerts dedicated to St. Nicholas Day helped children immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Ukrainian Christmas, experience a real holiday, recharge with Christmas magic, dance, sing, act out scenes, and simply rejoice, laugh, admire, and marvel.
The Donetsk Region Cultural Hub launched the "Marathon of Good Deeds," where children from local communities in the Donetsk region take part in festive activities, have fun, and receive nice gifts in an atmosphere of warmth and smiles.
Saint Nicholas and his friends visited all the humanitarian hubs/centers, congratulated those present on the holiday, and brought an atmosphere of kindness, wonder, and sweet gifts. The children did not hide their emotions when they received them: excited eyes, sincere smiles, genuine happiness!
The friendly and magical atmosphere of the holiday, fun, interesting activities, and sweet gifts will remain in the memories and hearts of children for a long time.
The holidays continue! The festive marathon is gaining momentum!
