The European Judo Cup for athletes under 21 has concluded in the Polish city of Poznań. The competition brought together over 200 participants from 28 countries, among whom the Ukrainian national team took second place in the medal count, winning 11 medals: two gold, three silver, and six bronze.
Eighteen-year-old Ivan Garmash—a representative of the Donetsk Oblast School of Higher Sports Excellence and a Master of Sports of Ukraine—contributed to the national tally.
In the under-100-kg weight class, our judoka secured four victories, defeating two competitors from Austria and two from Poland.
