The regional round of the All-Ukrainian competition “The Earth Is Our Common Home,” organized by the Donetsk Regional Ecology and Nature Center, has concluded. This year, nine teams from seven local communities in the Donetsk region participated in the competition.
The competition’s theme, “Water Is Life!”, served as a meaningful guide for the participants, focusing their attention on an extremely pressing environmental issue: the conservation of water resources and their rational use.
In their presentations and video projects, the teams demonstrated how they study the condition of water bodies, conduct educational work, participate in environmental campaigns, and foster a respectful attitude toward water as the foundation of life on the planet.
The “Dzherelo” team from Kurakhiv Secondary School No. 1 won the regional round and will represent Donetsk Oblast at the national level.
