As part of the project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities" implemented by the Pokrovske and Sheptytska communities, 82 IDPs from Donetsk region visited the historic city of Belz.
The trip was organized by the "Ednannia" hub of the Pokrovske City Military Administration, and the Sheptytska community provided the bus. The excursion was a great opportunity to relax and get acquainted with the cultural heritage of Lviv region.
Participants visited the Town Hall with a museum, a mine with a copy of the icon of the Mother of God, the Church of St. Nicholas and the Jewish cemetery - important historical and spiritual places in Belz.
Dmytro Shynkar, head of the Ednannia hub, emphasized that such events help IDPs adapt, feel part of the community and learn the history of the new land.
The project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities" continues to unite people, creating new opportunities for communication and support for IDPs in the communities.
