Many people are concerned about what happens to their employment rights and accumulated insurance record if they did not convert their paper employment record book into electronic format by June 10.
Here's what you need to know:
❇️ The process is still ongoing. You can digitize your employment record book even after June 10, 2026. There are no restrictions or deadlines preventing you from doing so.
❇️ Your insurance record is protected. If you did not submit your documents by that date, your employment history and insurance record remain valid and are not canceled or lost.
❇️ Paper employment record books remain valid. The paper employment record book continues to be an official legal document. It still serves as proof of your employment history and is taken into account when determining pension benefits.
❇️ Information for pensioners. If you are already receiving a pension, there is no need to resubmit or upload your employment record book.
What are the risks of missing the deadline?
The main risk concerns the physical preservation of the paper document itself. If your employment record has not been digitized and the paper book is lost or damaged after June 10, 2026, restoring employment records for periods before 2004 may become much more difficult. In such cases, you may need to obtain records from archives or resolve the matter through the courts.
The digitization of employment record books is intended to securely protect information about your work history from loss, damage, or destruction of paper documents.
Information stored in the Pension Fund of Ukraine's electronic databases helps ensure that your future pension benefits can be calculated quickly and accurately.
You can upload scanned copies of your employment record book through the Pension Fund of Ukraine's Electronic Services Portal:
