Training courses on the fundamentals of national resistance have concluded in Dnipro, Kropyvnytskyi, and Kremenchuk for groups of residents from the Donetsk region.

The courses were organized through the cooperation of the Donetsk Region Unity and National Resistance Center Platform with the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for National Resistance Training, the Kirovohrad Regional Center for National Resistance Training, and the Kremenchuk Municipal Center for National Resistance Training.

Such training is especially important during Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. Its purpose is to prepare civilians to respond effectively in dangerous situations by teaching essential safety skills, cooperation, self-help, and assisting others. These are practical skills that can save lives, help people remain calm in times of crisis, and enable them to act correctly when every minute matters.

During the training, participants received practical instruction in the fundamentals of national resistance, civil safety, and appropriate conduct in emergency situations. Particular attention was given to people who were forced to leave their homes because of the war but continue to play an active role in the strong, united, and resilient community of the Donetsk region.

The Donetsk Region Unity and National Resistance Center Platform continues to expand the geographical reach of its activities. The work is ongoing, and the number of cities where residents of the Donetsk region can participate in these courses continues to grow. This is an important step toward building a resilient society capable of acting confidently, responsibly, and in an organized manner during wartime.

Preparing civilians is about more than acquiring knowledge. It is about strengthening communities, fostering mutual support, being ready to help others, and developing the resilience needed to withstand today's challenges. That is why such training is an important component of Ukraine's national security and social unity.

Residents interested in participating in future training courses may contact Pavlo Fedorenko, Head of the Donetsk Region Unity and National Resistance Center Platform, at +38 (066) 420-39-37, or Andrii Shturkhetskyi, Platform Specialist, at +38 (066) 376-49-11.
