Energy workers in Donetsk region restore power every day despite ongoing shelling. Due to constant attacks by the occupiers, in some settlements electricity had to be restored dozens of times.
Since the beginning of the year alone, energy workers in Donetsk region have repaired 1,160 energy facilities, restored 1,300 km of power transmission lines and 46 cable lines — all under daily enemy fire.
This year alone, repair crews have come under shelling more than 100 times while working, and two employees have been injured. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, there have been more than 300 attacks on repair crews and 19 injured energy workers.
Despite the danger, our energy teams tirelessly carry out their duties.
