From December 1 to 5, 2025, when future IT specialists from the Kramatorsk Center for Vocational and Technical Education underwent practical training at a partner institution in Dnipro, students studying to become electric and gas welders also mastered their program.
Both areas became part of a coordinated educational process aimed at developing relevant practical skills.
A group of students, led by special subjects teacher Serhii Plis, studied the main topics necessary for their future work: equipment structure, types of electrodes, principles of working in a protective gas environment, and welding mode settings. After a short theoretical block, the students immediately moved on to practical training.
The first practical stage was to practice the technique of movements on a special simulator. In safe conditions, the trainees practiced welding speed, arc length, hand position, and tool angle. Digital simulation helped to consolidate key motor skills before working with real metal.
The final stage was practical training in production workshops under the guidance of experienced mentors Stanislav Streltsov and Vladimir Maly. The training covered both areas: manual arc welding and mechanized welding in a protective gas environment.
Students note that the combination of digital simulation and practical work helped them quickly gain confidence in working with equipment and better understand the behavior of metal during welding.
The well-organized learning process and professional support from teachers ensured consistent results and allowed participants to take a significant step forward in their professional development.
