Yevhen Smal, a grant recipient of the government program “Own Business” from Sloviansk, has taken another step toward strengthening his business by using the “Energy Support for Sole Proprietors” program.
Medicine Without Interruptions
The entrepreneur works in the medical field, where energy stability is not a matter of comfort but of patient safety. Diagnostic equipment operation, medication storage, and medical procedures all require guaranteed power supply.
Thanks to the “Energy Independence for Sole Proprietors” initiative, Yevhen has been able to reinforce the clinic’s technical capacity and minimize the risks of work suspension due to power outages.
What Is “Energy Support for Sole Proprietors”?
The program is designed to support entrepreneurs who are already operating and want to ensure autonomous business operations. It provides an opportunity to purchase alternative or backup power equipment — including generators, energy storage systems, and other solutions for uninterrupted work.
Applications are submitted through the Diia portal: https://diia.gov.ua/services/dopomoha-fop-na-enerhostiikist. Entrepreneurs can receive up to UAH 15,000 to increase their business’s energy resilience. The amount depends on the number of hired employees.
