Four years of full-scale war and twelve years of tireless resistance have been a time of pain for Ukrainians, but at the same time, they have become a symbol of unbreakable faith and unity. On February 24, as part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," an event was held to mark the National Day of Prayer, bringing together the communities of Sartana, Chyhyryn, Velykokuchuriv, Rivne, and Staryi Sambir.

The joint meeting was attended by representatives of the Department of Veteran Policy and the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events of National Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, the Mariupol District State Administration, and the leaders and representatives of all five communities that are partners in the Side by Side: United Communities project.

A nationwide prayer for Ukraine's victory and liberation, led by Father Ivan, protopriest of the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, united all those present around their faith in a just peace.

The event was made particularly emotional by the media projects: "Living Memory" — about those who gave their lives for our freedom, and "Voices of Communities" — video messages from community residents, who once again proved that the voice of Ukraine, which sounds in every heart, cannot be silenced.

We remember the value of each day and the name of each Hero who gave their most precious gift — their life — for freedom! We bow our heads before the feat of the Heroes and know that our unity is the force that will overcome any challenges.
