There are 214,600 civilians, including 15,778 children, still living in the government-controlled area of Donetsk Oblast.

The pace of evacuation in Donetsk Oblast was discussed during a traditional briefing at the regional state administration with representatives of the Department for Civil Protection, Mobilization and Defense, the Children's Service and the Department of Social Protection.

The territory of 20 communities currently belongs to the area of active hostilities. 18.5 thousand people remain living there. This was reported by Dmytro Petlin, head of the department of operational and emergency service, communication, warning and public information of the Department for Civil Protection, Mobilization and Defense.

Over the past week, 1,445 people, including 228 children, were evacuated or left Donetsk region on their own.

The number of children in the area of active hostilities is gradually decreasing, with 25 minors still living there.

This was reported by Yulia Ryzhakova, Head of the Service for Children. There are 1743 children living in 9 settlements of five communities where the forced evacuation of families with children has been announced. The largest number of children is in Druzhkivka, with 1639 children. There are 9 children in the following settlements of the Lyman community, 16 in Dobropolye, 21 in Kryvyi Rih, and 4 in Bilozersk.

Over the past week, 205 children have been evacuated from the settlements where the forced evacuation of families with children continues.

21 children were evacuated from the Liman community, 19 children were evacuated from the Dobropolye community, 22 children were evacuated from the Kryvyi Rih community, 40 children were evacuated from the Bilozersk community, and 103 children were evacuated from the Druzhkovka community.

Only 1 child remains in the village of Yarova in the Liman community, where a horrific shelling claimed the lives of 24 people yesterday. This is a settlement where the forced evacuation of families with children continues. Local authorities hope that the family will move to a safer area tomorrow.

Two hours before the shelling, a family with a child left the area and was taken to a shelter of the charity organization Save Ukraine.  The grandmother did not want to go with them, came under fire and died.
