While the fighting continues a few kilometers away, the police are trying to save as many lives as possible.
In one day, the White Angels crew evacuated 17 people from the town of Bilytske and the village of Andriivka, Kramatorsk district.
Among them were a mother with 5 children, a wounded man, and people with disabilities. Each of them has their own story and pain. But the main thing is that they are alive and will be able to start a new life.
But there are those who did not manage to escape. Near Bilytske, the police came across a car. The driver was in despair, and there was a dead woman inside. It turned out that the man was taking his wife, who had been wounded in the shelling, to the hospital. But he did not make it. The car stalled, and his beloved did not wait for help.
The White Angels took the inconsolable man with his wife's body to the morgue.
