The Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine has developed and approved a Model Modular Training Program for professionals who provide support to war veterans and demobilized individuals.
The training will last at least 120 hours. Professionals will be able to complete the entire program or individual modules—depending on their work, experience, and professional needs. Training will be available in-person, remotely, or in a blended format.
The program focuses on the practical skills specialists need in their daily work.
🔹 The training covers:
▪️issues of veteran policy and social and legal protection;
▪️issues of medical, psychological, and rehabilitative care;
▪️coordination among various government agencies and services;
▪️professional communication;
▪️case management;
▪️the use of digital tools.
The program consists of five modules. The content of each module is designed to deepen the competencies necessary for performing relevant professional tasks, particularly when working in healthcare facilities, as well as in accordance with the specialist’s qualification level.
This approach is intended to help organize training in accordance with each specialist’s position, professional tasks, and level of responsibility.
It is important to note that the Model Modular Program does not replace or supersede the current model continuing education program in the field of “Organization of the Work of Specialists Supporting War Veterans and Demobilized Persons,” approved by Order No. 704 of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs dated September 12, 2025. Both programs may be used in accordance with specific needs.
