As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” representatives of the Toretsk Primary Health Care Center, in collaboration with specialists from the Ruzhyn Community Resilience Center, conducted a psychological training session aimed at developing practical skills for responding to crisis situations.

This training served as an important tool for developing stress resilience, emotional stability, and the ability to make quick and informed decisions. Its main objective was to teach participants:

  • to adequately assess crisis situations;
  • to maintain self-control under stress;
  • to respond effectively to threats;
  • maintain inner balance and confidence in their own actions.

During the training, participants gained a detailed understanding of the nature of crisis situations, their psychological manifestations, and their impact on human behavior. The practical part of the training focused on developing skills in self-regulation, anxiety management, overcoming panic reactions, and restoring emotional balance.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of mutual support within the community. It is precisely through collective action, trust, and solidarity that we can not only overcome difficulties but also build a strong, resilient society. The “Side by Side: United Communities” project proves once again that together we can do more: support one another, learn, grow, and move forward with confidence even in the most difficult times.
