On September 18, 2025, the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education hosted a forum "Partnership in Action: Cooperation of Educational Institutions with Communities" for local governments and educational institutions. The event, held as part of the Civil Society Week, brought together 30 representatives of local governments and educational institutions.
Viktor Shabanov, Director of Charitable Programs at the Foundation for Educational Initiatives, Victoria Gontarenko, Director of the Center for Professional Development of Teachers at the Kostiantyniv City Council, and Svitlana Redchenko, Deputy Mayor of the Soledar City Council were invited to the studio.
The participants discussed ways of effective cooperation between educational institutions and communities to create favorable conditions for the development of children and youth. The issues of resource allocation, public involvement in the management of educational institutions and the introduction of innovative educational practices were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the issue of integrating veterans into community life, including the educational environment. The need for partnership in implementing modern educational programs, supporting teachers and developing infrastructure was emphasized. The importance of close cooperation between the authorities, teachers and the parent community to ensure quality education and sustainable development of local communities was also emphasized.
The forum resulted in the joint development of an algorithm of actions for the synergy of community - education - veterans for the development of the country.
